The physical Linxup tag attaches to your tools and connects to the vehicle tracking unit via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacon. The vehicle tracker regularly scans for tags to identify which are present or out of range. Based on real-time location updates from the vehicle, the tag’s ‘last seen’ location is displayed on the live map, showing either the vehicle it was in or the job site where it was left. Quickly retrieve forgotten tools by configuring an alert to be notified when a tool is left behind at a job site.
Our tool trackers affix easily to any tool on your truck. They can be affixed with screws, zip ties, or adhesive strips. If it's valuable, track it!

Linxup Customers Rate Us Well
“We have been using Linxup for many years and had just recently been talked into trying a different service from our FSM, which we tried for a month, but it just did not have the ease of use and clearly defined trip layout that Linxup has, needless to say, so we dropped the other service.”
“Great product. Always works. Easy to install. I have been using this to track my work vehicles for years.”
“Amia was great to work with. Could not have asked for a better onboarding specialist. She worked around our crazy schedule here, and we were able to get everything done in a timely manner.”
“Tried tracking on one local unit, and the feedback has already shown me where I can be more efficient. Great product.”
“Have purchased multiple devices over a two-year span. Great Fleet management tool.”
“I was in the market for a GPS system and discovered Linxup. After speaking with a representative, I closed the deal, and they shipped the trackers. The experience couldn't have been easier. Once I plugged the trackers into the vehicles, I was instantly able to track all four vehicles on a map.”
Tags can track virtually anything they can be securely attached to, ideally for larger handheld items such as chainsaws, leaf blowers, restoration fans, etc., as well as containers for power tools and other high-cost valuables.
Yes, an alert can be configured to send when a tracked item/tool is no longer connected to a vehicle tracker.
While the vehicle tracking device will continuously scan to see which tags are within range, this scanning uses minimal power. It’s done on the edge via low-energy Bluetooth technology, so it won’t drain your vehicle’s battery.
The vehicle trackers will scan within 30 seconds after an “ignition-on” event. It uses signal strength to determine the closest tags within range. The VTUs scan every 60 seconds afterward.
